About Paul
Paul Penman was born in Manly, New South Wales and was educated at Manly (Village) Public School and Manly Boys' High School. He spent twenty-five years in the advertising profession here in Australia and briefly in South Africa. His career began in advertising agencies and ended in the print media with Rupert Murdoch, Kerry Packer and the Fairfax family. Paul is a Fellow of the Advertising Institute of Australia and is qualified with Tennis Australia as an Advanced Coach. He traveled widely whilst attending university where he has earned degrees as a Bachelor of Arts in Intercultural studies, a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) and a Graduate Diploma of Arts in Writing. In 2013 Paul withdrew from the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (Theology) at the university of Newcastle to focus on his creative writing.
Paul has two daughters and four grandchildren and is based in Melbourne, Australia.
